Hi there!

I’m Taylor. My last name is pronounced “KEE-thur” (it’s German and no, I don’t understand it, either!). I’m an award-winning journalist, writer and editor with more than 14 years of editorial experience and nearly 10 years of digital media experience including social media, online publishing, email newsletters and much, much more.

I’ve written for publications large and small, in print and online, mainstream and niche. Previous subjects include daily news, arts and culture, lifestyle and features, healthcare and women’s health, gun violence, social justice, academia, business and entrepreneurship, technology, law and more.

As for copy editing, I’ve edited all of the above and more — résumés and cover letters, essays, social media content, podcast notes, email newsletters, creative writing and even a poetry anthology.

Based in Chicago, I’m a proud Wisconsin native (go Pack!), avid nonfiction reader, and fan of comedy, live music, and art exhibits. I drink iced coffee year-round and have a cat named Emma. It’s nice to meet you!
